Text and tech are Amir’s two big passionsHaving written his master’s thesis about the history of technological evolution in Formula 1, it seemed only natural for him to pursue a career as a tech editor. And so over the last 15 years he worked as editor-in-chief, content strategist and branded content team lead for several German tech publications before he decided to join the fabulous technikPR team.

Upon entering high school, Emil realized there wasn’t an affordable way for students to communicate with each other digitally. Thus, Emil founded the school’s IRC channel, approaching even the most influential pupils and earning their backing. Emil kept riding this wave until he graduated in 2006, enjoying his ‘social media’ before it was even a term. After school, he realized that the same skills could be used to connect brands with audiences – and the rest is history.

Tech + nature: this does not seem to match at first sight, but not for Jan. He has a huge passion for product photography and he combines tech and natur to unique product shots you probably have never see before. He has been working as a hardware editior for different online media, starting as user-reviewer at pcgh for more than ten years now. With his job as Junior PR-Manager at technikPR he simply switched sides.

Since 1999, Shu On has written, presented, and talked about the colorful world of IT and telecommunications. His career started as a TV host at the five-hour TV show NBC GIGA, acquainting him with all types of media publication from online to print magazines but also led him to the marketing and communication team of an established audio brand in Germany. His passion for consumer electronics and technology knows no bounds.

Passionate about Japan and interculturality, Valentine studied international communication specialized in English and Japanese. After a first experience in a large French company in patronage, Valentine joined technikPR as a Junior PR & Social Media Manager to use her skills in communication and interculturality.

After completing his degree in Computer Science while working as a freelance music journalist, Xander decided to combine both interests and became a hardware editor and eventually editor-in-chief of Personal Computer Magazine (PCM). After 10 years on the media side it was time for a change, when he crossed over to ‘the dark side’ and joined the technikPR team, and opened the Amsterdam office to help with its international expansion.

Yannis grew up with a keyboard and a mouse in his hands and started to tinker with computers during his childhood. With the purpose of sharing his knowledge, he created a YouTube channel in 2011 to provide tips and educate people in the field of computer hardware and software which allowed him to become an IT expert. After three and a half years as a product manager for gaming gear and 11 years as a content creator, he decided to switch sides and joined TechnikPR to offer his knowledge to the company and develop his skills in communication and marketing.
