Alphacool Eiszapfen

 

Braunschweig, February 5th, 2019 – Alphacool, the specialist in PC water cooling, introduces its new Eiszapfen series of quick-release fasteners. They feature a sophisticated design, that only marginally reduces the flow rate of the cooling liquid. The integrated closure and sealing system prevents water from leaking, even when opened.

Two-part quick-release fasteners with G1/4” thread

The new fittings of the Eiszapfen series consist of a Male and Female connector, both available separately. Thanks to a standard G1/4” external thread the Eiszapfen can be screwed directly to a radiator, reservoir or other block without the need for additional adapters.

Flexible usage

Since the quick-release fasteners consist of two separate parts, it is up to the user to decide which combinations of fittings are suitable for his/her use. Alphacool offers a large portfolio of Eiszapfen components with different threads that can be combined with the new quick-release fasteners: whether internal or external thread, with or without bulkhead fitting, with G1/4” or G3/8” connector, the new Eiszapfen series gives the user full choice.

Sophisticated technology

Alphacool has integrated into the new Eiszapfen quick-release fasteners a sophisticated closure and sealing system as well as N.D.S.L. technology, which stands for "no drip, no splash, no leak." This prevents water from leaking, not only during operation, but especially when opening the fasteners. Due to the sophisticated design of the fasteners the flow rate is only marginally reduced, which is why the Eiszapfen series is also suitable for a high-flow system.

Pricing and availability

The new Eiszapfen quick-release fasteners are available right now in Aquatuning’s online shop, in deep black or chrome-plated versions, for a suggested retail price of £13,43/€14,95 for the connectors and £15,24/€16,95 for the couplings.
