Ergonomic wireless mouse to relieve wrist strain
Auerbach, 13 December 2017 - CHERRY, the specialist for computer input devices, presents the MW 4500, an ergonomic wireless mouse that reduces wrist strain thanks to its unique design. The new mouse aims to be a perfect all-rounder in office or home use.
Best-in-class ergonomics for fatigue-free work
CHERRY has designed the MW 4500 to be an extremely ergonomic mouse that relieves wrist tension and allows fatigue-free work. With its unique shape, the hand rests on the mouse at a 45-degree angle. This results in a more natural posture that prevents discomfort of the joints and tendons. An abrasion-resistant surface complements the ergonomic shape.
Comprehensive feature set for powerful functionality
At the heart of the CHERRY MW 4500 is a precise infrared sensor that can be switched between an optical resolution of 1,200 dpi, 900 dpi, and 600 dpi, by pressing a dedicated button. This allows users to find a setting that corresponds to their personal preferences. In addition to the two main mouse buttons, there are four other available for input, including the scroll wheel and two side buttons that improve navigation in web browsers, for example.
Small nano receiver and battery status indicator
Other features of the MW 4500 wireless mouse include a USB receiver in nano format, which can either be left in the USB port of the PC or laptop or be stored in the bottom of the mouse. A status LED in the lower edge of the mouse informs the user about a low battery.
The CHERRY MW 4500 is available at an MSRP of €30 / $35 / £30.
